    Date parameters Linking

    prakhar garg

I have start date and end date parameters which I am passing in the where clause of my query to filter the data.

is there any way I can restrict the end date should never be smaller than the start date. Also, there's no date column that I am selecting in my query. only start date and end date are being used in where clause.

For Example: the user takes the start date to be '30-nov-2015', then the user should not be able to choose the end date below '30-Nov-2015'.

Can't control the parameter values but what I'd do is change up the filter used to something like this:

IF [Order Date]>= [Start Date] AND [Start Date]<=[End Date] AND [Order Date]<= [End Date] THEN 'Show'

          ELSE 'Hide'

          END

Then put some verbiage on the parameters to tell the end user to not pick an end data before the start else 'No soup for you'
