Find attached workbook with a Version 0.1 as at starter.
Stil a view approvements could be made but at this moment I don't get my head around it;)
Step 1: Selection not based on a Quickfilter but parameter. In this way you could select "smaller then".
Step 3: Now you have to select each row separately but could be solved as described in this post Filter using single date, results applied to multiple dates..
At the same time there also some lay out issues. You need the width to show delta & amount for each month and at the same time you need the full hight to display all projects in the selection screen. This could be solved with solution as described at Step 3:
I was not able to incorporate the play back function.
Because you are on 8.3 I published the workbook to Tableau Public. You can download Tableau Public for free and review the workbook Check the workbook here | Tableau Public

Thank you so much for your help. This is great. I just have a couple of questions...
1. I am struggling with the 'Top N Parameter', I have added this in but it is not updating the data?
2. Also is it possible to show the top 10 projects (or sub-categories) that have increased and the top 10 decreases? The challenge with this is that the number of projects (or sub-categories) I have varies from month to month.
Thank you very much for your help.
P.S. I now have Tableau 9.1 :-)
Thanks for reply. I general top & bottum is possible but i have to check in this scenario.
I wil come back when i have figured it out
Thank you very much, I look forward to hearing from you.
Again a workbook now also with the '''Bottum version'''. Please check if this is sufficient
My remarks concerning Top version are also applicable for this one
Thank you again for all your help.
The issue I still have is that when I change the months the overall number of projects change which mean that the bottom 10 do not always show. I.e. if the number of projects in March is 50 and I select projects 40-50 then this will show the bottom 10 changes but if then in April there are 60 projects, it will only show projects 40-50 unless you manually change the projects selected. I want the bottom 10 to be dynamic so it updates as you change the months. Is it possible to do this by adding a parameter or a calculated field so that it takes the bottom 10 or we could look at a percentage for example, the bottom 5%?
If you can help with this I would be so grateful.
