# Distinct count across multiple columns

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a calculation that looks across columns and performs a final distinct count.

My table is as follows:

I have a distinct count from three different tables all representing their own column. What I would like to do is have a total on the end of each row that looks across the three columns and performs a distinct count. The closes I can get is just getting the system to minus all three which I don't want because numbers will be repeated in there somewhere.

Kind Regards

Can you do a LoD sum across all three?  Something like this:

SUM({FIXED [Faculty], [School of Study]:COUNTD(WHATEVER MEASURE1)})+

SUM({FIXED [Faculty], [School of Study]:COUNTD(WHATEVER MEASURE2)})+

SUM({FIXED [Faculty], [School of Study]:COUNTD(WHATEVER MEASURE3)})

If that doesn't work can you post a packaged workbook?
