Did you try wrapping the workbook and project name with ""(double quotes) or ''(single quotes).
i.e "Project Name" or 'Project Name'
Yes, I have already tried both double and single quotes. Still not working.
did you try the double escape with \\ ?
Tried both \\ and %20%20. No Luck
How about single quotes and then double quotes? The idea is that the single quotes are removed by the shell, and tabcmd gets the argument with double quotes.
If this doesn't work, show us your command line invocation.
Or try the new SDK from linux and skip tabcmd altogether
Is there any news on this? Seems to be me that for some reason tabcmd on Linux is not compatible with whitespaces, is that correct?
Hi Tim/ Christian,
Do you find the solution for this ? Im having the same issue with space in Data source name.
Env: Tableau Server 10.5
tabcmd linux version 10.5
Thank you in advance!

Hi Ken and Tim, we've identified a recent issue with whitespace in tabcmd arguments that affects the standalone tabcmd for Linux. This should be fixed in the next update (May 2018) and you'll see this mentioned in the release notes (the issue id is 761344). Sorry for the inconvenience.
