      Description

         MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Engage with headquarters and line managers to establish business requirements for reporting and analysis 
      • Develop new scalable solutions for reporting and analytics for two emerging Fidelity businesses (Wealth Management/Executive Services) while maintaining robust support for mature business lines (Participant Engagement) that will enable leaders to make evidence-based decisions 
      • Partner with technology teams and external vendors to build and implement analytics solutions across a broad range of platforms.  Recommends, designs or leverages research and analysis methodologies to bridge business knowledge gaps 
      • Develops and implements research to understand factors that may be impacting business performance and distribution resource effectiveness 
      • Evaluate data and present findings to sales managers, executives and peers in a compelling, fact-based manner 
      • Serve as a subject matter expert on BI Platforms as well as data elements.  Keep abreast of industry and firm-wide trends in data analysis 
      • Identify opportunities via data and insights to improve ease of doing business for internal and external customers 
      • Partner with team members to create redundant operations and share best practices

       

       

      Qualifications

       

      • Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of experience or Masters with 3+ years of experience.
      • Prior role in a customer service/sales/reporting related position is preferred

       

      • Experience dealing with large complex data sets across multiple sources
      • Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities
      • Confidence in delivering accurate data that drives critical business decisions
      • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
      • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
      • Deep expertise in utilizing business intelligence platforms to derive insights:|
        Tableau is required, Oracle, Qlikview, others a plus
      • Expert level proficiency in reporting tools (eg: MS Access, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, Alteryx, Informatica)
      • Comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity in a deadline-based environment
      • Articulates a point of view in a compelling and succinct manner.
