Best way to Group Multi-Location Customers?

    Carrie Gallagher

      Hi All -

I've been playing around with a lot of options but haven't found something that does exactly what I am hoping for.   Within our set of data, we have scenarios whereby we have multi-location customers that we often group by a "master" name.   I already have a customer hierarchy in place, but it doesn't take into account these "multi-locations."

      EastStore100300
      EastStore2001700
      EastStore300850
      WestHotel1003000

My goal is to be able to easily see the total Sales, by "Master" account that I assign (assume either by a calculated field or by a grouping, but I am having trouble with both of these).

I would like the ability to still see the individual "Cafe" and "Store" results if needed, therefore editing Alias is not a good option for me.

What is the best way to accomplish this?  I've watched the Grouping video and I'm not sure what the best way to go is.

      Thank you in advance,

      Carrie
