Setting Multiple Filters via Salesforce Canvas

    Ankur Mittal

We are not sure of how to setup multiple filters using SFDC Canvas. For example, the following will setup a filter for name.

      'ts.filter': 'Full Name=<user.firstName> <user.lastName>',

We will like to be able to setup multiple filters... is the syntax something like the following?

      'ts.filter': 'Full Name=<user.firstName> <user.lastName>',

      'ts.filter': 'Gender=<user.gender>',

This does not work. Please help.

          Hi Ankur,

          Try

'ts.filter': 'Full Name=<user.firstName> <user.lastName>&Gender=M',  I hardcoded the value M since there's no gender available within the SFDC user context.  Here's a known list of what's accessible that SFDC provides regarding the logged in user.

               userId

               userName

               firstName

               lastName

               email

               fullName

               locale

               language

               timeZone

               profileId

               roleId

               userType

               currencyISOCode

               accessibilityMode

               profilePhotoUrl

               profileThumbnailUrl

Also if you're looking at an specific object say account you can reference fields via the visualforcepage syntax for example the account id.

          {!Account.Id}

          Hope this helps.
