# How to calculate ratio for bar graph?

Hi All,

I have 1 dimension "Class" and 1 measure  "Sum(Selling Price Per Quantity)" and "Date Season" (Dimension;which is calculated based on date) is placed in color. as shown in screen shot below:

So How do i get the ratio b/w "Dry Season" and "Rainy Season" based on "Sel Price Per Qty" with respect to "Class" ?

Regards,

Ganesh K

Hi Ganesh,

Use % of Total from Quick Table Calculation & compute it using Date Season.

Hi Prashant,

Thanks for reply, Is that possible to have "Ratio" instead of percentage like this"2:1"?

Hi Ganesh,

Showing this chart in form of ratio is not a good approach because you are calculating sales ratio here. But if you want to show approx ratio then we can calculate it but showing exact ratio is not good for many purposes over here. Like if you have sales of around 106943 for dry season & 395737 for rainy season & if both are not divisible then you can't find an exact ratio between these two. Showing this as %age is the best option.
