Have you tried within tabcmd export to use the following parms?
--pagelayout (landscape, portrait)
--pagesize (unspecified, letter, legal, note, folio, tabloid, ledger, statement, executive, a3, a4, a5, b4, b5, quatro)
--width (Number of pixels)
--height (Number of pixels)
For automated PDF export through TABCMD using GET/EXPORT, how can I use "CONTENT and SCALING" options in tabcmd.
Will you suggest me the best way to use.
I don't think you can set these, but you could open a support case to verify.
This is an old post, but today I finally figured out something that helped me with scaling exported PDFs from Tableau using tabcmd and thought I should share to pass this solution along.
If you are trying to export and it is not displaying as expected trying add the width and height options to the tabcmd export command an example is below.
tabcmd export "/Workbook/Worksheet" --pdf --pagelayout landscape --pagesize unspecified --width 1344 --height 816 -f "C:\TableauExports\ExportTest.pdf"
NOTE: In my example I actually had to set the width to 1344 instead of 1056 when converting from inches to pixels. The conversion is 1 inch = 96 pixels. You can adjust this to suite the page size you need. In some cases you might have to set the width to a large page size.
