I think, Right Click on Data Source. Choose Extract Data.
Hope it helps!
Thanks, but I am not able to find that option. Sorry, but looks like am missing something.
I have my .twbx file open and wondering where to find this option!

If it is not displaying after right clicking on your data source, then go to Data Menu on the Menu Bar. Your data source will be there at the bottom of the drop down. There you can change to Data Extract.
When I click on my data source (I tried clicking on each of theml) - I just see Refresh, Extract Data.
The Use Extract and Extract> options are greyed out.
I have multiple data sources (different Excels and different dashboards created from those Excel files). Could that be a problem? I don' think this should be a problem because I tried to change a live connection in a file that is connected to a single Excel file.
Thanks for your help Aman.
Looks like that link is addressing refreshing extract, I couldn't find an option to convert to extract. I clicked on "Extract Data" but I am not sure where it saved the extract so not quite sure about how this works. I guess I'll try some more options. Thanks again for helping out.
I think the saved extract will be in the folder
