    Python Tableau Data Extract API not working on Mac 10.9.1?

    Carlo Torniai

      I've downloaded and successfully installed the Linux 64bit version of the Data Extract API.

      I have Python 2.7.5 installed on my Mac (which is running Mavericks OSX 10.9.1).

      When I try to import dataextract

      'import dataextract as tde'

      I have the following error:

      /Users/ctorniai/anaconda/lib/python2.7/site-packages/dataextract/__init__.py in <module>()

           12 # WARNING: Computer generated file.  Do not hand modify.

           22    LIB_PATH = os.path.join(os.path.dirname(__file__), 'lib', 'libDataExtract.so')

           23 else:

           25

           26 class LoadLibs(object):

      RuntimeError: Unknown platform darwin

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks
