My aim is to compare two Coffee datasets with different source filters based on multiple dimensions in one sheet.
I followed this tutorial: http://kb.tableausoftware.com/articles/knowledgebase/multiple-sources-one-worksheet. The result comes close but is not exactly what I need.
I attached my workbook to this forum post.
My two problems are:
1) list all possible values of multiple dimensions in a text table. In my workbook only the 'Product type' dimension is shown.
Note that I dont want to create pairs of possible values of multiple dimensions, I need one column with possible values of multiple dimensions!
2) calculate the absolute difference between column 1 and column 2.
In my workbook, row 1 column 3 should be: -0.64, row 2 column 3 should be: -3.65 etc
