How can we design workbooks that utilize an Essbase multi-hierarchy?

We have an Essbase cube designed with some dimensions as multiple hierarchies. In Tableau Desktop these dimensions display in in the left pane with a bracket [ ] within the parent name. You are allowed to right-click on the parent dimension to switch to a new hierarchy generation. This of course changes the reporting data.

The problem we are facing is these reports will be published to our Tableau Server for our end-users. They can not go into web edit to switch that hierarchy. We have not been able to figure out a way to provide a dashboard filter for these hierarchies. Ideally, we would like to provide both methods, minimally one.
