This article is very vague.
I've change the user variables TEMP and TMP to D:\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP but the extract files are still being created in the old directory.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Odd, this article works fine for me - I always redirect my TMP/TEMP and APPDATA to d:\ so I have lots of room for temp files.
Did you change and./or add your APPDATA environmental variable, too? Doing so is not optional.
I have all three (TMP, TEMP and APPDATA) set to d:\temp
Yes, all 3 are set to D:\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP
Very strange – that works fine for me. Did you logout and back in?
· Post a screenshot of the environmental variables dialog on this box?
· At the command-line, execute echo %temp% and then echo %tmp% and then echo %APPDATA% and see what they return?
It looks like logging off and back on was the key.
Thanks for your help.
