    How can I suppress certain data on the row calculation field.

      I want to suppress certain field in Tableau. How can I achieve this? I would really appreciate if someone can help.

          We will need more information.  Is there a certain criteria for what you want to suppress? What are you trying to accomplish?  Can you post a packaged workbook demonstrating the problem, as well as a description of the result you are expecting or hoping to accomplish?

            How about something like the following:

             

            IF [Product] = "Gross Applications - R16 Results" OR [Product] = "Gross Applications - R16 Results"

            THEN NULL

            ELSE SUM(APAR1)

            END

             

            You will also want to prevent people from downloading the workbook or viewing underlying data so that they cannot see the data behind these two products.

             

            If you want to remove these completely from the view, you could also right click the data connection that has the Product field and add a datasource filter to remove these two products at the data source level.
