    Conditional formatting within columns

    Kirsty Scanlan

      Hi

I'm trying to recreate a conditional format in Excel, where I can colour a range of values dependent on the range within that column, alongside the same conditional format in the neighbouring column, where the colour is dependent on the range within that column. So, in principal, 75 could be green in one column, but red in the neighbouring one.

Here's a sample of how I worked it within Excel:

IThis form of flagging by colour is extremely useful, but when I try to model this in a Tableau table, for more than one column, it's forcing the colours by the range across all columns, and not within one.

I hope this makes sense, and that someone can help!

      Many thanks - Kirsty
