I don't know cubes, what happens if you click on Year = 2009 and Week = 10? Does that show data?
It will only show data if only one selection is made in the hierarchy. Even two selections at the same level cause Tableau to remove the option for viewing the data. And, it turns out it isn't just when using a hierarchy. Any dimension used as a multi-select filter (and not also used elsewhere in the view) will cause the same behavior. And it's not just the filter -- If I select more than one mark, spanning multiple dimension values, I won't be able to view the data either.
With a little more research I discovered that this is a limitation of MDX generally and not Tableau specifically (see: Filtering on multiple items is disabling custom drill through actions).
So, in summary, viewing the data (which uses MDX drill-through), will not be an option when the selection of mark(s) is defined by more than one value of a dimension.
I'm glad you got it figured out, though it's too bad it's not supported by MDX.
