Have you used Size?
It would be easier to help if your print screen included all shelves and pills.
It is much more likely you get help if you attach a packaged workbook with anonymous sample data, such as Sample Superstore which you find in My Tableau Repository > Datasources.
I already checked this option but I have a different requirement,.
For my requirement "Width of the bar should be less" hence this option is not useful.
Now question is "How to decrease space between bars without increasing actual bar size"
Attaching workbook on request.

Changing [Region Group] to a discrete pill solves your issue with auto re-sizing width of bar.
Ps. I manage to find one of your two data sources on my own PC. Next time, please attach workbook as Packaged Workbook (twbx), so data is included in the workbook itself.
Ps. Please mark answer as Correct Answer if it is the correct answer. This saves time for other volunteer helpers (scanning the forum to help) and Tableau staff (to mark answer questions as assumed answer). In addition it also makes the answerer happy.
Ps. You might like to vote up Space between cells (in box plots, bullet graphs, etc)
We don't have that fine control of space between cells.
For fun I tried, but could only make either 4 or 6 pixels between, not 5, see attached workbook.
The number of pixels I counted by taking a print screen and counting them in Windows Paint.
I recommend you to vote up Space between cells (in box plots, bullet graphs, etc) and add a comment about having an option to define space between cells (bars) in pixels.

I guess they way you are thinking is different and it is very straight forward to achieve.
What I want is bar size should be fixed(10px) we should not tune it using "Size" option as you did.
But spacing between bar should be decreased to minimum or what should be able to tune it.
I guess It is pathetic that we have to increase the "Size" of the bar itself to narrow down the width between two bars.
I guess by that way we are loosing the control. Think if we have to embed something in to web application with limited space It sounds like we cannot use it.
I have up voted your proposal but I hope some work around is available to proceed further.
James, thanks for the vote.
You might find something by searching. I just searched after the keywords fixed space between and found Re: I want 1 pixel wide fixed size bars in a bar chart which is a comment by Jonathan Drummey that might be helpful to you.
I checked this and this also kind of relative if we increase dash board size it increases and if we decrease it is decreasing.
What I want is something independent which can act only upon size between bars.
Guys anyone ?
I am using a Marimekko chart where I make the width of the columns to use the Size filtering. What this does is to create spacing between columns, even though I have max'ed out the Size setting (which would ordinarily remove space between columns). Is there a way to use this Marimekko concept and to also remove the space between columns?
I followed the following link to create the Marimekko.
Did we ever get an answer to this question? I am having the same trouble and feel like I've scoured the forums.
I'm having the same problem - have a line graph with time on the x-axis. I want to aggregate my data at the minute level, but display only hours (for up to 1 full day's worth of data). But when I do that, the columns get too wide to display enough hours, so I have to ditch aggregating my graph at the minute level.
I have the same issue with the Marikmekko.
I want to eliminate the space between the charts used in this example: Marimekko Charts | Tableau Software
For a worksheet, I was able to reduce the space between the bars in Tableau 9.3 by selecting Format / Cell Size / Narrower. Does this help?
