How do I represent in the same Viz dates from different tables and connections?

    Rafael Moreno

Hi, I have different connections to single tables from the same data source. One table for every year (4 connections: 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013). I 'd like to represent in the same viz the sales during the four years

          Hey Rafael -

People normally approach this challenge in one of two ways:

          • Reduce your data sources down from one to four by using the UNION statement to essentially "stack" each one of the tables on top of the other. If you search the forums for "UNION" you'll see lots of examples. This takes a little bit more work up front, but makes authoring MUCH easier.
          • Add a table to the primary data source which includes ALL dates from each of the four tables. Then, use this new table to BLEND the four data sources together.
