    aggregations cross many measures

    Jacob Kline

I have a generic set of weights that I'm going use across 15 different data measures.  to create versions which will properly aggregate across categories, it seems like I have to create a new variable that replicates each Measure ... like this ... sum([Measure]*[weight]) / sum([weight]). Is there a generic way to create a function that just takes any of my measures and weights them appropriately?

Not really. You could have a parameter that swaps out the measure in use, but that's no good if you ever wanted to use two measures together. Honestly, by the time you've written the case statement for the swapper calc, you may as well have written the 15 new calcs. Don't forget to use right click, duplicate to save some time.
