Is the status of your licence okay?
Yes. I checked and it says active. To make matters stranger, I could connect to excel or another "file," just not to any of the other connections such as SQL or Hadoop.
Have you recently experienced disk problems or unexpected system reboots? Your licenses may have been partially damaged, and if so you will need to work with Support (firstname.lastname@example.org) to walk through the steps to repair your licenses.
I rebooted. Took off the license, re-added it and still doesn't work. Sent an email, but no response yet.
Did you run a full disk check and repair? This will require another reboot since the operating system cannot repair the disk while it is running. After doing this check and repair, you may need to work with our Support team to perform a "local repair" of your Trusted Storage licenses. This step may be necessary, and cannot be resolved by simply re-activating your licenses.
Old tool chkdsk....
Checks a disk and displays a status report.
CHKDSK [volume[[path]filename]]] [/F] [/V] [/R] [/X] [/I] [/C] [/L[:size]]
volume Specifies the drive letter (followed by a colon),
mount point, or volume name.
filename FAT/FAT32 only: Specifies the files to check for fragmentation.
/F Fixes errors on the disk.
/V On FAT/FAT32: Displays the full path and name of every file
on the disk.
On NTFS: Displays cleanup messages if any.
/R Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information
/L:size NTFS only: Changes the log file size to the specified number
of kilobytes. If size is not specified, displays current
/X Forces the volume to dismount first if necessary.
All opened handles to the volume would then be invalid
/I NTFS only: Performs a less vigorous check of index entries.
/C NTFS only: Skips checking of cycles within the folder
The /I or /C switch reduces the amount of time required to run Chkdsk by
skipping certain checks of the volume.
Thanks. It would be great if the support team would call or email me back. I contacted them about 8 hours ago.
My apologies for the delayed response from Support, someone should be reaching out to you shortly.
Support has been slammed and SUPER slow to respond lately. Hopefully they will be adding more personnel because it's getting sad from the good 'ol days of instant email responses.
