    Tableau Help Desk Analyst Needed

      We are looking for a person with Tableau experience In Los Angeles to help Tableau users resolve issues via a help desk.


      • Extensive experience with Tableau, preferably version 5 and up
      • Tableau certification preferred
      • Training and/or customer-focused experienced
      • Ability to troubleshoot and walk end users the steps to solve issues related to Tableau functionality (will likely need to walk through via caller’s computer)
      • Document and gather metrics on questions to build out standard knowledge objects for use by future HelpDesk staff
      • Develop FAQ postings

      Required Skill Sets:
      2 years Tableau desktop development experience.
      Experience with Tableau 7 / Tableau 7 Server preferred.
      Relational database concepts, including SQL optimization experience preferred.
      3+ year SQL Server preferred.

      Job Description:
      Support Tableau software users via telephone and email using LogMeIn remote control.
      Utilize and maintain support desk ticketing system to document Tableau issues.
      Build knowledgebase of Tableau issues reported by users.
      Develop reporting and visualizations utilizing Tableau software that support business objectives.
      Facilitate training sessions for users on Tableau as a subject matter expert.
      Provide support for Tableau developed objects and understand tool administration.
      Mentor/support team members on technology and development approaches as needed.
      Research and develop platform solutions and propose/document standards as needed.
      Document development work and/or change efforts in accordance with the companies’
      development lifecycle requirements.
      Assist or support testing resources as needed.
      Maintain the integrity of development work and underlying data through the use of version
      control systems.
      Support Microsoft Office, Microsoft operating systems, and other 3rd party applications via
      telephone and email using LogMeIn remote control.
      Resolve general service desk issues remotely.

      Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or have equivalent industry and application
      Minimum of two (2) years solid Tableau development / administration experience
      Knowledge of relational database design concepts including data normalization (Databases MS
      SQL Server)
      Effective oral and written communication skills.
      Willingness to help users, ability to maintain detailed records, ability to work independently.
      Friendly and professional demeanor with users.
