I have a tableau server 7.0 installed in Windows server 2008 R2. It's been running well since the installation about a year ago.Today however I discovered the server is down. I went to Windows services to see the server is indeed not running. So I started it and got a "Error 1069. The server sis not start due to a logon failure".
The license is still valid so it is no issue.
I googled on this error and tried the suggestions the search returned, but none of them worked.
Did anyone out there ever deal with this issue before? I wonder if I should do a re-install?
your inputs are appreciated,
The only thing I can think of is maybe a patch was installed. Is the login/password you're using still valid? Also, you should be running Tableau Server version 7.0.13 if you aren't already. A reinstall wouldn't hurt, just make sure you perform a backup first. You may want to contact Tableau Support.
