    Crosstab of non-exclusive group intersections

    Alphonse MacDonald

I have a large dataset of users who belong to at least one of four NON-EXCLUSIVE groups. To start, I would like to create a simple 4x4 crosstab with identical headers (Group A, B, C, D) where each cell shows the number of users (Number of Records) belonging to the intersection of the two groups on the axes.

      Dataset example:

      IDGroup A
      Group B
      Group C
      Group D
      1YNYY
      2NNYN
      ...............

      Desired outcome:

      Group
      ABCD
      A
AA and BA and CA and D
      B
B and ABB and CB and D
      C
C and AC and BCC and D
      D
D and AD and BD and CD

Can anyone advise on how I might set up these non-exclusive groups or sets? I have a nagging feeling that the solution is simpler than I'm imagining.
