So I've followed the directions via the following article on calculating distances between points on a map.
I'm trying to look at distances between up to 9 unique Lat/Long locations. I have successfully plotted lines between points, but it gets really busy on the map and I'm unable to see the distance between points on the map.
What I'd like to do is:
A) Calculate the average distance between stores to understand the geographic dispersion
B) Add a scale to the map so that it's somewhat clear how large the distances are
Ideally I'd like to visualize this on the map and add other attributes, but alternatively I would settle for a table that has the average distance among stores. Thoughts are appreciated.
Adding a scale has been talked about on the v8 beta forum - I don't think there was resolution.
