    How do I create custom regions?

      I am attempting to show sales data rolled up to a region/district level. Currently I can view my sales at a ZIP code or State level with no problems. However, I'd like to view sales using a filled map for an entire region. My regions go across multiple states. For example, the southeast might consist of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, etc. I'd like to have this entire region filled in using the same color with a rolled up sales total for the entire southeast region. Similarly, I want to see the same thing for the other regions (northeast, midwest, west, southwest, etc.).

       

      I have a hierarchy table that links states to specific regions. Is there a way that I can custom define these regions to be able to view my data in this way?
