Colour a row based on Type

    Marc Maschette

      Hi All,

Is there a wayto colour a row based on a field type? for example as seen in my attached picture i have three rows one of the rows  has the type repair while the others have the type damage, can i colour a row based on its type being repair?

      Cheers

          Hi Marc,

This can be done to an extent--not across all the dimensions, but across the measures. Create a calculated field similar to the following:

if [Type]='Repair' then 'green' else 'red' end

Then, place this on the color shelf and change the mark type to Gantt or Bar. Place Avg Number of Records on the size shelf and adjust the size legend so it's set to the largest.

          Hope this helps!
