Data source order means "as the database would naturally order the values." If you are connected to a relational database, it means however the database would put the values in ascending or descending order.
Only if we apply clusted index on any attribute, then it will order in that manner.But that is not my question.
I have created a query with sort. The query is pulling the data to tableau engine with sorted data.Then if we see sort option, in tableau it is doing asc or desc.Is there any way to remove or disable the option. it will come natrual order of query.

I am facing the same issue as you did. I have a Dimension. The members in it are indented based on the level at which they appear in the hierarchy. When I use this field as a quick filter, the data is sorted on the alphabetical order which doesn't show the right hierarchy. The data source in my case is an Excel file.
Please could you let me know if you were able to get it to work?
