    Tableau upgrade reboot required?

      We have been in the process of upgrading from Tableau 6.1 to Tableau 7.

      As part of this, a number of issues had been encountered (e.g. Filters not appearing in the same format/foreground extracts not delivering the same results, for identical workbooks between versions).

       

      It would seem following upgrade to Tableau 7, a reboot of the server corrected the issues encountered.

      Has anyone experienced something similar? Should the server be rebooted once the upgrade has completed? (Not something which is outlined within the Tableau migration notes).

       

      Any feedback would be appreciated.
