    Connecting multiple Excel Worksheets

      Good Afternoon,

I have been trying to connect 3 different Excel worksheets into a Tableau workbook.  Attached is an example of my workbook.  I have labeled all headers the same, and following other's advice on the forums, tried using the custom SQL Query to create a join.  I have also tried connecting multiple tabs using the join inner feature but cannot get anything to work.

Below is an example of the SQL Query created.  Can you please help me connect these tabs?  I have a total of about 10 tabs I will be connecting with over 100 rows of data each.

      Thank you!

Try this format for your custom SQL:

SELECT [Deo$].[$ % CHG VS YAG] AS [$ % CHG VS YAG],

[Deo$].[$ SHARE OF TOTAL] AS [$ SHARE OF TOTAL],

[Deo$].[$ SHARE OF TOTAL CHG VS YAG] AS [$ SHARE OF TOTAL CHG VS YAG],

            [Deo$].[$ VOLUME] AS [$ VOLUME],

[Deo$].[$ VOLUME YAG] AS [$ VOLUME YAG],

            [Deo$].[CATEGORY] AS [CATEGORY],

            [Deo$].[MANUFACTURER] AS [MANUFACTURER],

            [Deo$].[MARKET] AS [MARKET],

            [Deo$].[PERIOD] AS [PERIOD],

            [Deo$].[PRODUCT] AS [PRODUCT]

          FROM [Deo$]

          UNION ALL

SELECT [Face$].[$ % CHG VS YAG] AS [$ % CHG VS YAG],

[Face$].[$ SHARE OF TOTAL] AS [$ SHARE OF TOTAL],

[Face$].[$ SHARE OF TOTAL CHG VS YAG] AS [$ SHARE OF TOTAL CHG VS YAG],

            [Face$].[$ VOLUME] AS [$ VOLUME],

[Face$].[$ VOLUME YAG] AS [$ VOLUME YAG],

            [Face$].[CATEGORY] AS [CATEGORY],

            [Face$].[MANUFACTURER] AS [MANUFACTURER],

            [Face$].[MARKET] AS [MARKET],

            [Face$].[PERIOD] AS [PERIOD],

            [Face$].[PRODUCT] AS [PRODUCT]

          FROM [Face$]

          etc...
