Thanks for replying. The prompt filters are those which will prompt you for adding conditions on the run.
eg: i have a report for the details of a user. However i do not want the report to have all the users always. Hence i can add a prompt filter for username when i run the report so that it asks for me to enter the required user names which has to be displayed.
I don't think they work exactly as you'd like, but a Custom Value quick filter could be used which allows the user to type in the desired members. If you'd like more functionality, add it to the Ideas section with more details!
