    "Licensing check in progress" message stopping you from using Tableau?

      That occurred to me and was related to a connectivity issue following a Microsoft update of Windows 7.

       

      They provided the fix below:

      http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2617858

       

      Hope it fixes your issue too, there is nothing worst than not being able to use your preferred visualization software, is there?
