Hello,

I am new to Tableau. I have a below view(please refer to attachment), how can I export view data to excel, if excel is not
possible, exporting it to CSV format?

Not sure what you're really asking, but the way you stated your question, I'd have to say no that's not doable. If you want a functioning dashboard on a webpage, you'll need to go the Server or Public path, which doesn't go through Excel to get there. Maybe you could ask again with a bit more detail of what you're trying to accomplish.

In order to export in the Tableau Server, you need to do the following

This is available in the top center portion of the Tableau Server. The Crosstab option is shown only if while publishing the Workbook the option for "Export Data" is marked.

Thanks Sindhu. I did not find the Export Data option while publishing the work book.
Where can I find the Export Data option?

Sorry the "Export Data" changed to "Download File" in Tableau 7.0

Is crosstab option available for Dashboard? if this is not available, is there a way at least to view the data of each sheet present on the dashboard.

Yes, you can cross tab to Excel the dashboard(Each Sheet separately).

Thank you very much. When I am publishing the workbook, I selected Download file option please see below fig.

On tableauserver, crosstab is disabled for dashboard. Please see below fig. Can you please help me, am
I missing anything else.

Hi Ram,

To be able to export the workbook to a crosstab, click on one of the sheets within the dashboard. From the screenshot, it looks as though nothing is selected.
