    Different Colors for Headers?

    Weily Shay

Can anyone tell me how to make different shading colors for headers in a chart like in the image below. I would like the whole header for Furniture to be shaded in blue, and Office Supplies in Orange.

          Hi Weily,

One way to do this--although it won't be exactly as you want it (I don't think) is to go to Format-->Shading. Select the Rows tab, then, under Row Banding choose the desired color next to Header. Choose the second tick mark for Band Size and lowest Level.

For a more dynamic way to format the headers, etc. I would recommend adding it to our Ideas section!

          Hope this helps a bit!
