    ATUG Meetings - August-December 2012

    Andy Piper

We have solidified meeting space at Norfolk Southern's midtown office for our monthly meetings from August through December of 2012. The time set aside for each meeting is 1PM-4PM, though most meetings do not go past 3:30PM. To help you plan accordingly, below are the dates and proposed activities - if you can present at one of these meetings, please contact me.

      July:  No meeting

August 23:  Tableau usage short sessions - per a request at our June meeting, we are looking for presenters to show the group what they are doing with Tableau. Each presenter will be given 10-15 minutes (perhaps just enough time to introduce yourself and show one or two ways you are utilizing the product to enhance your business). No prior speaking experience or Tableau-guru status necessary - we just would like to know how you are utilizing Tableau.

September 20:  Will be looking for Tableau Conference presenters to perform a dry run either in person or via WebEx. There may still be some time remaining on the schedule if an ATUG member would like to present something.

October 25:  Will be looking for Tableau User Conference presenters to perform a dry run either in person or via WebEx. There may still be some time remaining on the schedule if an ATUG member would like to present something.

November 15:  Tableau User Conference recap. ATUG members who attended the conference in San Diego the week before will be encouraged to provide a brief presentation (10-15 minutes) on one thing they learned or enjoyed at the conference. There may still be some time remaining on the schedule if an ATUG member would like to present something.

December 20:  Nothing planned currently, but one possible topic may be demoing Version 8 new features.

If you would like to present at any of the upcoming meetings, or have a presentation topic request, please contact me.

      Regards,
