Joe Mako Jun 30, 2012 10:59 AM (in response to dalia cohen)One option is to add a sequence number and time length from previous to your data source, and then you can do the analysis you are looking for. I would recommend using an ETL to add these columns or you can use Tableau Server to generate the data file, as in http://community.tableau.com/thread/118600
The attached has the formula for generating these columns, and also connected to the pre-processed data, an analysis for what I understand from your question. I also filtered out the records with price of zero prior to computing.

Quick question, though - I can't seem to download the extract to find the formula for "sequence". How did you go about getting sequence, exactly? I'm not sure I fully understood the link about multipass aggregations.
