Automatic update to the latest date after refresh in Tableau server

We have some views in Tableau server which are updated daily. How can we make them automatically updated to the latest date available?

I.e. when user logs in he has to see the new data (for the previous day) without the need to choose and refresh the view.

      Thanks,

      Ivan

If you have a quick filter on the view and asking how to set that filter to the latest period, then I don't know of any way to do it and would like to find out myself.

If there is no quick filter like that, then you have two options:

          1. configure your extract to only get the fresh data and discard the old one, i.e. by definition the view will only contain fresh data
          2. use calculated fields to determine what data should be displayed based on current date etc., and use these fields in your filter
