Overprjnt on grand total of columns

    John Woolley

In a table with a grand total of columns I'm getting the total and an overprint of one of the items (the second in the list). Or maybe it's several items overprinted. But it's not a total. What's the concept I'm missing?

          Hi John,

This is likely because you have a field that has more than one row of data compared to the other field on the level of detail or one of the marks card shelves. For example, if you were using the Superstore Sample and you placed City on the rows shelf, State on the level of detail shelf, and Sales on the text shelf, you will notice that Albany, Alexandria and some other cities have overlapping text. This is because there are multiple states that have a city named Alexandria, etc. Hope this helps!
