    Trusted versus local authentication

      Hello Tableau experts,

We have a Tableau Server with a total of 10 logins. These logins are set-up and managed with the active directory authentication method. This will allow us to easily setup logins for users which are part of the companies IT network. However we also would like to setup a login for someone outside the company network (external user). Does somebody know how we could do this? Does this mean we have to manage all the logins, both internal and external logins, locally by switching form the active directory authentication to local authentication?

      Your help is appreciated.

      Regards Ivar
