    Two identical columns

Hi there - I am sure this is extremely basic, but I am new to tableau.  I have a basic table that shows total $ by category.  .I want to show the total $ as well as the total $ as % of column but I can only seem to do one or the other.  Is there a way to show both?  Thanks in advance for my rookie question.

          Hi Jen,

There are a couple of ways to do this. One is to create a calculated field that will be the total $ or the % of total. Another option is to create a duplicate of the total $ field (right click on the field in the data box and select Duplicate). Still another option is to place the total $ on the view first and add the table calculation to it. Then, add the total $ to the view. Hope this helps!
