Sort name descending by number issue

    William Shyu

I would like to have this chart sort by descending order, but two numbers always appear in the wrong place.

Can somebody tell me how to get this bar chart right?

      Thanks.

William you actually have three bars that are out of place (6th one down). It doesn't appear that you are sorting on the bar data at all (the apparent sort is just coincidental). But none of us can help without more information about what you're sorting on, how your rows and columns shelves are populated, etc. Best to attach a packaged workbook so we can take a look.

William, I just re-read your title "...descending by number". If these are ordered base simply on a number (1-22), then the problem is you are using single-digit numbers for 1-9 and double-digits for 10-22. Change them all to double-digit format and the sort will work:

            01

            02

            03

            ...

            21

            22
