I have two fields I am trying to combine in a calculated field.
2.) Selling Stores
Qty is straight forward, its a measure that returns the quantity sold per item number.
Selling stores is a little different. It is a COUNTD of a dimension titled CustID. This returns to me the number of unique stores that have had sales.
When I try to do the formula
Qty/SellingStores I get an error that says "Can't Divide Integer Value by String Value"
Does anyone know a formula where i can make the selling stores an actual number instead of a string? OR - does anyone know of a better way to get the calc?
Is Tableau recognizing these as numbers (there should be a '#' next to the name, not 'Abc')? Is the countd being done in Tableau?
