I saw this wasn't answered, hopefully you've figured it out by now. What you need to do is:
- Put Date on the columns shelf and set that pill to be the 2nd Day of Date option. This changes the blue YEAR(Date) pill to a green DAY(Date) pill.
- Put Measure Values on the Rows shelf and Measure Names on the Color shelf. This draws your lines.
- In the Sales datasource, create a calculated field that looks like this:
SUM([Orders])-SUM([budget (2012 budget by day test.xlsx)].[Budget])
- Then drag the calculated field onto the Measure Values card.
