      Hi,

I want my axis name to change according to what I choose in my parameter, what do I do?

          Hi Alan,

This can be done by using a bit of a workaround. Create another calculated field that is similar to the Choose to Display calculation, however, make it string.

For example, if my original calculation looks like the following:

          case [Sales or Profit Parameter]

          when 'Sales' then sum([Sales])

          when 'Profit' then sum([Profit]) end

Create another calculation similar to the following:

          case [Sales or Profit Parameter]

          when 'Sales' then 'Sales'

          when 'Profit' then 'Profit' end

Then, place this calculation on the rows shelf (note in your view, switch sum(Total) and the Choose to Display calculation on the rows shelf). Then, edit the Choose to Display axis, uncheck the Automatic box and clear the title.

Right click on the new calculation title and select Hide Field Labels. Then, right click and rotate the label.

          Hope this helps!

            Hi,

I was able to follow the instructions above without a problem for one parameter, but I have two parameters (one on each vertical axis) and I can't get the second axis to match the name of the second parameter. Any idea on how to do this?

            Thanks.
