weighted average across time periods and products

I've scoured the forums re: weighted averages, but did not find an applicable solution. This (http://www.tableausoftware.com/support/forum/topic/weighted-average-calcs-between-dates-no-table-calcs) was the closest, but the time periods are 1, 2, 3, 4 and not a Date type.

I am trying to aggregate the year-over-year growth rates of Apples and Oranges unit sales for Country 1. The challenge is to utilize the ‘weight’ values, as we assess the sales growth of Apples to be 2x that of Oranges (100 vs. 50, respectively), regardless of the unit sales volume.

The “correct” weighted outputs (quarterly & annual) are shown in the spreadsheet file, but I can’t seem to work through the table calcs (year-over-year growth) such that it calculates the outputs weighted by the weights (100, 50).  Tableau automatically calcs the weighted average by simply adding the sales figures together, which is not what we want.

Thanks in advance for your help & guidance!
