yes. On a dashboard, you can place a web page object, and specify the URL of the HTML web page you want placed/embedded in the dashboard. You can make custom webpage(s), to place on your dashboards for tracking purposes.
And if you really want to add something to every view on the server, you can go hack up the html yourself in an unsupported fashion.
Where I can find correct .html from server? Page header location would be even better
The idea is to use web analytics tools to figure out usage of Dashboards.
And is this possible without going in 'unsupported' mode :-)
thanks in advaance, Ravi.
I'd like to cast a vote for being able to more easily customize the look of Tableau Server without having to go rogue, "hack" the code and ultimately have an unsupported version. Right now I'd simply like the ability to add some custom URLs (such as to our corporate website, intranet sites, and to a project group specific help file); but other items in the future could be the changing of colors or adding a chat tool -- which could be good for supporting the Viz.
I would be happy to modify the general HTML template as well!
