I'll try to drop some point here that hopefully may help you.
1- If English is not your first language, some of the wording may be a bit confusing (at least it was for me) and therefore you need to take extra care reading each question carefully.
2- Remember the exam is open book so make sure to google the things that you may not know. When doing this, is important to know which websites are more likely to give you the answer you are looking. In my case, I'd always try to see if there is a Knowledge Base article on the topic.
3- Keep practicing, especially those topics that may be more complex at first such as LOD, Blending, or Table calcs. One site with mock exams is https://learningtableau.com/
4- Read about other people experiences:
a) https://www.thedataschool.co.uk/nicholas-bowskill/tableau-qa-revision-tips/ Nick Bowskill from The Data School.
b) https://sarahlovesdata.co.uk/2018/08/06/the-tableau-desktop-qualified-associate-exam/ Sarah Bartlett from Slalom.
c) https://www.thedataschool.co.uk/louise-le/how-to-prepare-for-your-tableau-specialist-or-qualified-associate-exam/ Louise Le from the Data School.
d) https://www.thedataschool.co.uk/sarah-jellenc/how-to-prepare-for-the-tableau-certified-associate-exam/ Sarah Jellenc from the Data School.
The exam is a very personal experience so do not get discouraged. Make sure to think on which topics you need some extra practice and I'm sure with a bit more practice you will get there!
If this answers has helped you or solved your problem, I would kindly ask you to mark it as helpful/correct so other users can refer to it and to acknowledge the effort. Thanks!
Thanks Diego! I will follow your suggestions before my third attempt.
FYI, there are also a couple of posts from Marie Le Bars one of our Principal Tech Support Engineers in Tableau...
Hope this helps, and very best of luck
