I think you need a context filter to accomplish this - let me do a quick test on some data, but I believe your bottom N filter, when added to context, will give you the results you are looking for.

Actually it is whatever else you are filtering on that needs to be added to context - not whatever you bottom N filter is. Post back if this works for you or if you still have questions!
