Have you tried joining on Intersects MAKEPOINT(Latitude, Longitude)?
Here's a post on joining spatial data:

Could you share a sample workbook ?
Thanks for the help! I had already seen the link you sent, but the tip on using MAKEPOINT was helpful. However, I believe that I'm unable to proceed using that method, because Salesforce in Tableau cannot create an extract when there are calculated fields in the join... I receive an error that says that the extract cannot be created, and it only appears when I'm trying to join Salesforce with another database (i.e. the Shapefile).
I'm not able to share a sample workbook because as I said earlier, the data is sensitive. The problem only occurs when I link with Salesforce (because it's not letting me have joins on calculated fields in extracts), so creating a sample workbook would not be helpful in this case.
Have you seen Sarah Battersby's blog post on the variety of ways that mapping can be accomplished? Due to your limitations there might be a solution there for you... If this answers your question, please mark as correct or if it is helpful mark as such from Forums (not email). Best, Don
