Hello Anthony Heckman,
So sorry for the delay in responding to you. Have you found a resolution to your issue?
I've included a few info below in case it can be helpful:
- Views can be embedded into Salesforce via iframe using the standard embedding method described here: Embed Views into Webpages - Tableau. Salesforce Canvas is not required, but users will be prompted to log into Tableau Online prior to the view loading.
- You can implement Canvas (or Tableau Sparkler) with Tableau Server, Salesforce and Canvas (Tableau Sparkler). A detailed walkthrough on how to set this adapter up and how to integrate it into your Tableau deployment can be found here: Documentation: Salesforce Canvas Adapter for Tableau | Tableau Software
- Additional useful links
Moving your post to the Salesforce Canvas Adapter space in case this is not enough.
I've read in other places that iframe is discouraged in VF Pages, especially in Lightning (mentioned here in Trailhead as well). Looks like Sparkler would be the best option for now, but curious if there's any effort in getting something built out to embed using Lightning Web Components rather than Apex and VF Pages as those are being phased down.
